Bryce DiNardo
Bryce was born and raised in northern Vermont and received his B.A. in Biology and Earth Science from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. His past research and professional experiences have included studying the effects of nitrate exposure on amphibian gut microbiome, conducting ecological fieldwork with the National Council for Air and Stream Improvement, and mapping urban heat and tree canopy cover in Clarksville, TN to inform heat mitigation strategies with NASA DEVELOP program. His current research interests are centered on ecosystem restoration, succession, and resilience under changing climate and land use scenarios. He is especially interested in using GIS and remote sensing tools to support conservation, restoration, and land use planning efforts in both wilderness and urban settings.
