Lesley Bross

Lesley Bross received her BA in International Studies from the University of Washington. She recently earned her MS degree in Geography from Portland State University (PSU). Her Master's thesis, titled Using LandsatTM Imagery to Monitor Vegetation Change Following Flow Restoration to the LowerOwens River, California, focused on the disciplines of remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and landscape ecology.

Lesley has several years of experience in the Information technology industry and now enjoys applying these skills while addressing important issues in natural resource and ecology management. While at PSU, Lesley has contributed to the Basin Analysis GIS water forecasting tool and LANDIS-II forest landscape simulation model projects. She is looking forward to her lateest assignment, working with the USFS to enhance the BioSum 5 analyticframework and make it accessible to more analysts.
